Customers who pay their bills online through the City of Austin Online Customer Care portal – www.coautilities.com – will notice some improvements beginning Dec. 5. Designed so that customers can click, pay and get on with their day, the site sports a fresh, new look-and-feel. The login process was streamlined and the site was optimized for a better experience on smartphones and tablets. It’s also now easier to find answers to payment questions. Users will not need to change or re-create any log in information.
In addition, the City partnered with a new vendor, Paymentus, to offer more “quick pay” options for customers who pay their bill via credit card. In addition to offering a lower transaction fee, customers will be able to view bill images electronically while making a payment and set up convenient, recurring credit card payments.
